IVY NICHOL At West Park Manor, Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 13, 2007, Ivy Isabella (Newsham) Nichol passed away in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Nichol; loving mother of Marlene, husband Judge Howard Turrentine, of San Diego, Faye, husband Peter Philp of Peterborough, Ontario; grandchildren Brock and wife Laurie Philp of New Market, Ontario and Tanya Philp of Milton, Ontario; great-grandchildren Peter and Madeline Philp of New Market, Ontario; stepdaughter Diane (Nichol) Lambert and family of Morden, Manitoba; twin sister Dorothy of Winnipeg, sister Phyllis of Lac Du Bonnet, Delta of Chilliwack, BC; sisters-in-law Gladys Nichol, Mirium Nichol of MacGregor, Manitoba as well as several nieces and nephews. Ivy was a prominent and longtime member of the Eastern Star and Sturgeon Creek United Church. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at West Park Manor, 3199 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
